Picture Perfect Tips

Written by Decadent Details Events Assistant, Hailey Perry

Every bride wants her wedding day to be perfectly photographed. Some pictures are a given, pictures with groomsmen, bridesmaids, mothers, and all the beautiful takes of the bride. No, thanks to the new Internet craze, Pinterest, more and more brides everywhere are getting a look at just how captivating some shots really are. If you want a fantastic documented portfolio of your day, here are a few tips.

1. You need to make plenty of time for pictures. When planning a wedding, it is easy to not set enough time for all the wonderful pictures you want to make. So make sure that throughout the ceremony and reception you have the time to pose for the camera.

2. If you see pictures from weddings that you like and that you would like to incorporate into your own day, make a list. When you meet with your photographer, tell them your ideas and work out a way to capture all the moments the way you envision.

3. Think ahead. If there are props or certain backgrounds or places you wish to include, go ahead and think them over. The more organized you are with your photography, the more time you will have with guests enjoying and celebrating your wedding.

4. Another way to ensure you have plenty of quality time with your guests is to have a photo booth. You can build your own and bring props, or you can hire a photo booth to do all the set-up, props, and lighting for you. This is also a great way to entertain guests.

5. Lastly, do not sweat the small stuff. Roll with the punches, because you only have one wedding day to celebrate. Try not to stress over getting every shot and take a break from the lens if your family and friends are getting a little worn out.

We hope these tips help you and reas sure you of your hopes of a picture perfect wedding.
